Our goals are very simple: to assist the firm in developing the wherewithal necessary to manage themselves in a risk adverse environment. This means that we spend substantial time with that firm making an in depth analysis of those issues most involved with their practice management. This is obviously to the firm’s benefit but it is also very much to the Program’s benefit as well because the analysis includes articulate forecasts of risk potential. The firm’s Risk Profile is then used later as a measuring stick of progress and change.
Our analysis includes in depth interviews with Firm Principals, Associates, Administrative Personnel and in some cases, firm clients. We don’t particularly limit ourselves to any one class of attorneys or staff. The questionnaires filled out beforehand by members of the firm organization help to direct these inquiries, save time, and allow us to focus in on issues which for a particular firm seem to be most paramount.
Once that analysis is made, we then offer specific recommendations and assist the firm in developing their own goals to aid in developing the appropriate risk adverse environment. We also help the firm with appropriate strategies tailored to the firm’s particular dynamics and culture. Because our services are geared to the individual firm, and because each firm is unique, the efforts for each firm will differ substantially in scope and method.
